The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) cordially invites you to the 2023 Shanghai Christmas Lunch on the 10th of December, at Eat n Work.   Dear Members and Friends, In the framework of VI Edition of the "Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo/Week of Italian Cuisine in the World”, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA-ICE) and the Italian National Tourist Board (ENIT), kindly invites you to take part in a special Monthly Dinner celebrating the idea of aesthetics that perfectly combines with product quality in the concept of "Tradition and Prospects of Italian Cuisine: Understanding and Optimizing Food Sustainability". The aim of the evening will be to promote the Mediterranean diet as a balanced model and gastronomic lifestyle able to counteract food waste. About the "Week of Italian Cuisine in the World" The "Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo/Week of Italian Cuisine in the World" is promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Cooperation, the Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, the Italian Ministry of Education, and the Italian Ministry of Economic Development. He joined IBSS in May 2013 as a Professor of Practice in Management covering different leadership roles, such as: Associate Dean of Professional Engagement, co-director of the International Technology Transfer Centre (ITTC@XJTLU), Program Director of the Masters of Science in Management and in Project Management. Before joining IBSS he has been a faculty member of SDA Bocconi School of Management and Bocconi University for more than 20 years. In Bocconi he has been inaugural Director of both Executive MBA and Global Executive MBA and Director of the Double Degree in International Management. He has been Visiting Scholar (1996) and Visiting Professor (1998) at Stern School of Business (New York University) and Visiting Professor, Fudan University School of Management, Fudan University. He has a strong international exposure having worked in Russia, Bulgaria, Argentina, USA and China. Since the beginning of his career, he worked also as management consultant for both domestic and international companies serving in several board positions. Currently is also Board Member of the European Chamber of Commerce in China – Shanghai Chapter. Carlo Altomonte Professor of Economics of European Integration at Bocconi University, Associate Dean for Stakeholder Engagement at SDA Bocconi, Vice President of ISPI. Carlo Altomonte is Professor of Economics of European Integration at Bocconi University, and a core faculty member of SDA Bocconi School of Management. He is currently Associate Dean for Stakeholder Engagement at SDA Bocconi, and Vice President of ISPI, the Italian center of Studies on International Politics. From February 2021 to October 2022 he has acted as Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister Office of the Italian Government, under the premiership of Mario Draghi. Since May 2023, he has been appointed by the Italian President of the Republic as Expert Counsellor to the Italian Economic and Social Committee. In this capacity, he chairs the Italian National Productivity Board. His main areas of research are international trade and investment, the political economy of globalization and its implication on competitiveness, published in several leading academic journals. He joined IBSS in May 2013 as a Professor of Practice in Management covering different leadership roles, such as: Associate Dean of Professional Engagement, co-director of the International Technology Transfer Centre (ITTC@XJTLU), Program Director of the Masters of Science in Management and in Project Management. Before joining IBSS he has been a faculty member of SDA Bocconi School of Management and Bocconi University for more than 20 years. In Bocconi he has been inaugural Director of both Executive MBA and Global Executive MBA and Director of the Double Degree in International Management. He has been Visiting Scholar (1996) and Visiting Professor (1998) at Stern School of Business (New York University) and Visiting Professor, Fudan University School of Management, Fudan University.
