The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to announce that the 3rd Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Expo closed gracefully in Suzhou on September 25th, with offline traffic visits of more than 136,000 people, while online audience of 270 million viewers. As part of this great success, the participation of Italy showcased its industry excellence, beauty of the territory at a world level.
On Aug. 20, 2021, China has promulgated the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), which will take effect Nov. 1, 2021.
Serving as China’s first comprehensive law in the personal information protection area, together with the Cybersecurity Law, and the Data Security Law, it will form an over-arching framework to govern data protection, data security and cybersecurity in China for years to come. To better understand the new challenges posed by the PIPL, in this event, we will introduce the PIPL, and then provide real and practical examples of security measures helpful to reduce your legal risks.
