CICC & Vireo China Seminar Event on Shaping Green Hospitality SH

On Thursday, 25 September 2025, the CICC Member Vireo China, with the support of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), successfully hosted the seminar “Shaping Green Hospitality: Advancing Sustainability in Tourism with GSTC". The event took place at The St. Regis Hotel, Jing’an, Shanghai and was dedicated to improving sustainability in the tourism and hospitality sector.

Highlights of the event included

• Vireo China’s introduction to the local market, focusing on GSTC certification for hotels, a global standard for sustainable tourism.
• Hosted 35 attendees, including key stakeholders, gathered to discuss building a greener future for the industry.

• Yu Xin (WWF China) on sustainable procurement and reducing food waste.
• Koko Tang (GSTC) on empowering sustainable hospitality through standards.
• Luigi Mazzaglia (Vireo) on the company's role and global achievements.
